Dutch holding company Sinvest Group BV has acquired pond product specialist Van Gerven BV and UV-C/filter specialist Van Erp International BV – both based near Eindhoven in the Netherlands. Sinvest also owns SIBO BV – specialists in plastic pipes and fittings, and irrigation and pond supplies.

Sinvest says that the acquisition gives Van Gerven and Van Erp International a much broader outlet for its products through the markets that SIBO already supplies, and also says that both companies will continue operating independently.

“This acquisition will cause a big boost for all three companies,” comments Mario Sigmans, Sinvest Group director. “SIBO have been a business partner with Van Gerven and Van Erp for many years. The companies will complement each other perfectly.”
