Honouring outstanding achievements, technical excellence, and sustainable practices, the British Pool & Hot Tub Awards 2026 celebrated the very best in the swimming pool, spa, wellness, and hot tub industry, recognising companies that set new benchmarks for quality, creativity, and sustainability.

From cutting-edge technology to outstanding craftsmanship, the 2026 winners showcase the future of wet leisure

Organised by SPATA (Swimming Pool and Allied Trade Association) and BISHTA (British and Irish Spa and Hot Tub Association), this prestigious event took place on 3 February 2026 during the annual Industry Gala Evening at the Coventry Building Society Arena, as part of SPATEX 2026, the UK's leading exhibition for pool, spa, and wellness innovation. 

The evening brought together top professionals and brands to celebrate achievements shaping the future of wet leisure. Adding to the evening's prestige, the awards were presented by the Guest of Honour, Anna Hopkin MBE, a recently retired, two-time Olympian and Olympic champion, recognised as one of Great Britain's top sprint swimmers. She competed at Tokyo 2021 and Paris 2024, winning gold and setting a world record in the mixed 4×100m medley relay in Tokyo. A British record holder in the 100m freestyle, she has earned medals at World, European, and Commonwealth Championships, including four gold medals at the 2021 European Championships. Domestically, she won multiple British titles, notably three consecutive 50m freestyle championships. She was awarded an MBE in the 2022 New Year Honours for her services to swimming. Her presence and participation as Guest of Honour brought exceptional inspiration and prestige to the celebration, making the awards evening even more special for all in attendance.

Paul Kite Award for Pool / Spa Star of the Year (sponsored by Brown & Brown): Maddison Exell at XL Pools (SPATA Member) - The judges agreed that Maddison was a worthy winner of this award, due to her commitment to the family-run business. 

Dick Millward Trophy for Pool Contractor of the Year 
Centurion Leisure (SPATA Member) claimed the distinguished Dick Millward Trophy, recognised for outstanding technical expertise, design innovation, and commitment to quality. Achieving this prestigious accolade for the third consecutive year, and an impressive fourth time overall, highlights Centurion Leisure's exceptional craftsmanship, innovative vision, and unwavering commitment to setting the highest standards in the industry.

Peter Newbery Award for UK Innovation
Aqua-Blue Designs (SPATA Member) earned this esteemed award for a groundbreaking approach that elevates the wet leisure experience and introduces pioneering solutions, redefining industry standards. Troubled by the number of tragic entrapment cases, Aqua-Blue Designs created a solution from scratch: 'The Kormo-safe 800,' which the judges recognised as the winner of the 2026 Peter Newbury Award for UK Innovation.

Hot Tub Suppliers (BISHTA Member) was honoured with the Hot Tubs / Cold Therapy Spas Change Lives Award for a truly inspiring project that demonstrates the life-changing benefits of hydrotherapy. Their entry featured a powerful client story and image that showed how installing a hot tub transformed daily life, supporting physical recovery, improving mental well-being, and creating a sanctuary for health and relaxation. This award celebrates the profound impact these products can have beyond leisure, delivering real, measurable benefits to people's lives.
