The automated and connected swimming pool management system certified in the USA and Canada

PoolCop Evolution sets out to conquer American swimming pools

The key milestone for PCFR's go to market strategy in the USA and Canada has been passed with the successful completion of certification under NSF Recreational Water Program Component Certification Specification (CCS) 20628. PCFR's PoolCop technologies, with automatic multiport valve & automatic controller systems, are fully certified under the Recreational Water Program Component Certification Specification, CCS 20628. PCFR's product "PoolCop Evolution American Pool" is now certified for use in pools and spas throughout the USA.

Theresa BELLISH, General Manager of Water Systems at NSF International:

PCFR has gained NSF certification to the CCS 20628 Automated Valve Controller for their product PoolCop Evolution American Pool. This means their product was thoroughly tested and evaluated to meet the criteria for quality and safety, as outlined in the standard.

NSF / ANSI 50 standard requirements for pools and spas

NSF International led the development of the American National Standard NSF/ANSI 50: Equipment and Chemicals for Swimming Pools, Spas, Hot Tubs and Other Recreational Water Facilities in 1977, which is now heavily referenced in U.S. codes. Certification to NSF/ANSI 50 and Recreational Water Component Certification Specifications ensures that equipment, materials and chemicals meet minimum criteria for health effects, safety, design and construction, as well as performance and durability necessary to meet the code requirements set by most U.S. states and Canadian provinces/territories.
The CCS 20628 specification defines the requirements for automatic controllers and multi-way valves.
