In contrast to the widespread drop in sales due to the economic situation, Hi-Fitt® shows constant expansion on the technical hose market, with exponential growth in its turnover.
While gaining strength on the European market, in Belgium and the Netherlands, in organized retailing and the technical wholesale market, as well as garden centres, Hi-Fitt® is also developing on a large scale outside of Europe, in countries like Syria, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and China. In China in particular, which represents an immense market, the firm has doubled its turnover thanks to sales of its air and liquid hose, produced and certified with the utmost stringency in Italy and designed for medical and gardening equipment.
“We are pleased to see our firm developing beyond expectations, in terms of volume of sales and turnover and geographical presence”, comments the sales manager, Massimo Maran, who, in 2011, plans to consolidate and increase the results so far obtained.
These ambitious targets are made possible by the development of the swimming pool sector, where the volume of sales doubled between 2009 and 2010, thanks to the patented Barrierflex CDS® crack and chlorine resistant hose, which by itself accounts for around 70% of the sector’s sales.
Hi-Fitt® has established a thriving partnership with the French company CEC, the exclusive Barrierflex CDS® distributor in France. This market is well known as being one of the most developed in the pool sector.
Thanks to new logistics and very flexible stock management, Hi-Fitt® is strengthening its relations with the main European technical wholesalers and can offer them a large number of hoses patented for specific purposes, as well as a wide range of standard products providing a combination of quality and professional, effective service.
