With just a few weeks to go before Piscine Global 2026 opens its doors, the programme is taking shape. Market trends, innovation, artificial intelligence, water management, younger generations, landscape architecture, public and commercial pools... From 17 to 20 November at Eurexpo Lyon, industry professionals will have plenty of opportunities to take the pulse of the sector, share experiences and prepare for the changes ahead.

A programme to understand market shifts and prepare for the future of the industry

While product launches and innovations presented on the stands remain at the heart of Piscine Global, the 2026 edition also aims to support professionals through the broader transformations affecting their businesses and professions. Conferences and round tables will address everything from market developments and new uses of artificial intelligence to management, communication, resource management and changing user expectations.

Together, these topics give this year's programme a particularly wide-ranging dimension. Request your badge for Piscine Global 2026.

Market outlook, industry insights and awards to open the show

On Tuesday 17 November, the opening day will focus on the market outlook and the wider industry.
Following the opening ceremony, the French Federation of Pool and Spa Professionals will bring industry players together for its press conference and the presentation of the Trophées de la Piscine et du Spa awards.

The international dimension will also feature prominently, with a WAPSA conference focusing on the importance of cooperation between national associations in order to obtain more relevant market data and better understand industry trends.

The day will conclude with the EUSA Awards, highlighting some of the finest European pool and spa projects.

Innovation, AI and new performance drivers

Wednesday 18 November will place innovation and new models firmly in the spotlight. The Pool Innovation Awards will begin with a fast-paced Pitch Battle: ten shortlisted innovations will each have just a few minutes to convince a panel of experts. The winners will be announced at the end of the day, with five awards including the Sustainable Innovation Award and the Public's Choice Award.

But innovation will not be limited to technology. Marketing, communication and influence will be the focus of a conference exploring the new levers brands can use to strengthen visibility and support business development.

Artificial intelligence will also feature very concretely in the programme, with a session dedicated to pool professionals. Rather than focusing on theoretical promises, the aim will be to show how businesses can move from curiosity to practical applications capable of saving time and improving performance.

Environmental issues will also be addressed, with a session dedicated to pool water management in the face of climate change, heatwaves and water restrictions.

Finally, the Pool Horizons session will broaden the discussion to the social impact of the aquatic sector and its future direction, bringing together representatives of international trade associations and senior executives from major industry groups. Stands Piscine Global

Plenty of stands to explore

Anticipating the trends shaping the pool of tomorrow

On Thursday 19 November, the programme will focus more specifically on the deeper transformations affecting the industry.
Conferences will explore the social role of water, changing attitudes to work and the expectations of younger generations, as well as the role of swimming pools in architectural and landscape projects.

Another round table will examine the growing number of specialist areas within the pool sector, reflecting the increasing technical complexity of installations and changing market needs.

The day will also provide a forward-looking view of 2027-2028 trends. Materials, shapes, functions, adapting to hotter conditions, reconnecting with nature and budget constraints are all expected to continue influencing consumer expectations and professional offerings.

Aqualie: standards, renovation and performance for public and commercial pools

Thursday will also feature Aqualie, organised as part of Piscine Global and entirely dedicated to public and commercial pools.

With more than 4,000 public swimming pools across over 3,000 municipalities, alongside privately operated facilities in campsites, hotels, holiday residences, leisure parks and wellness establishments, Europe's pool estate faces significant renovation and operational challenges. Reducing water and energy consumption, controlling costs and responding to changing health and regulatory requirements are creating increasingly complex decisions for operators.

Aqualie will provide a highly practical programme to address these issues. The day will begin with an update on EN 15288 and regulatory developments, including the implications of the decree of 20 February 2026 for water quality, pool draining requirements, the digitisation of checks and centralised supervision of installations.

Pool renovation will then be explored through case studies from France and elsewhere in Europe, with a focus on coordination between on-site teams and design offices, anticipating constraints and ensuring the long-term value of investments.

In the afternoon, professionals will be able to review developments in mechanical water treatment standards, before a conference dedicated to Type B pools and the challenge of combining regulatory compliance, service quality and keeping operating costs under control.

Finally, a Best-In-Class session led by Pool Horizons will showcase an inspiring project from the world of swimming pools and aquatic activities.

Beyond the conferences themselves, Aqualie also aims to accelerate exchanges between decision-makers, operators, local authorities, design offices and manufacturers, encouraging the sharing of practical experience and new professional connections. Discover the detailed aqualie 2026 programme.

Closing the show with the Pool Festival

Piscine Global will change pace slightly on Friday 20 November for its final day. With the Pool Festival, the show will focus on conviviality and give exhibitors and visitors another opportunity to extend their discussions: a traditional Lyonnais Mâchon in the morning, a cocktail on the Pool Arena at midday, as well as music and entertainment throughout the day.

A fitting way to bring four days of innovation, networking and reflection on the industry's transformation to a close.
