Maytronics has announced the appointment of Rafael Benami as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking the start of a new chapter for the global pool robotics and solutions specialist.
An international profile to support Maytronics' next phase of development
Rafael Benami brings more than 20 years of senior management experience within global technology companies. Prior to joining Maytronics, he served as GM and President of Applied Materials Israel, where he led major strategic initiatives, including the development of disruptive technologies, acquisitions and international expansion.
During his tenure, Applied Materials Israel established development centres and customer service hubs across Asia, Europe and the United States, building a global organisation with thousands of employees. These initiatives supported strong revenue growth and improved profitability. Earlier in his career, Rafael Benami also held senior leadership positions at Nice, Comverse and other technology companies, where he led strategic transformations focused on growth, innovation and operational performance.
Rafael Benami holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from Ruppin College, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah, and an MBA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
He joins Maytronics with a clear mission: to lead the company into its next phase of innovation and global growth. On his first day, he shared the following message:
