MAREVA celebrated its 25th anniversary on 29th February surrounded by a hundred or so guests, partners, suppliers, journalists and local representatives.

Created in 1983, in 25 years Mareva has become one of the important players in the world-market of water-treatment for swimming-pools.

The company, which is the second largest producer of PHMB, has regrouped all its manufacturing activities at a single site of almost 60 000 m2 in the south of France with subsidiaries in the United States, Switzerland and logistics sites in Arles, Chalon-sur-Saône and Steinen in Germany.

The ceremony was also the occasion for Gérard Legrand, the present Chairman and Managing Director, to hand over the reins of the company to his son Franck-Alain Legrand.
Before joining the family-run enterprise in 2007, he was Exports Director of an American Management and Consulting Firm in London.

The handing-over of powers between Gérard Legrand and his son is planned over the course of next two years slowly and steadily.
