With DeckLine X320TM, APF Pool Design is rethinking pool cover design with a clear objective: to prioritise visual continuity and seamless integration with the pool. This new 320 mm structural slat combines design, ease of maintenance and straightforward installation to support professionals working on high-end pool projects.

DeckLine X320TM focuses on visual continuity across the cover

With DeckLine X320TM, APF Pool Design is changing the traditional structure of the pool cover. Where several slats would normally be placed side by side, the brand combines the equivalent of four standard slats into a single 320 mm structural slat, complemented by a single 78.5 mm slat. The aim is to create a uniformly flat surface and give greater importance to design in the overall integration of the cover.

This focus on aesthetics extends to the assembly details. A flexible PVC connection positioned level with the slat and a colour-matched gap help to limit areas where debris can collect. According to APF Pool Design, this design can reduce dirt accumulation by up to 75%. The end caps are bonded using a controlled hot-bonding process to create a smooth joint, with no visible ridge or break between the slat and the end cap.

DeckLine X320TM will be available in opaque PVC or solar PVC, in the brand's existing colour palette, complemented by two new exclusive shades. The solution remains compatible with existing APF Pool Design mechanisms, making it easy to integrate into both new projects and existing installations.

"With DeckLine X320TM, we are changing the way we think about pool covers: it becomes an architectural signature for the pool," says Wilfried Vaity, Sales and Marketing Director at APF Pool Design.

Beyond its aesthetics, the one-piece structure of DeckLine X320TM is also designed to reduce the number of assembly operations required. For professionals, APF Pool Design therefore highlights both faster installation and a distinctive product that can support the move towards a more premium offering.

Two safety options are available: Autofix, the patented solution for submerged covers, or the adjustable Easyfix fastenings. The new slats are also 4 mm thinner than the ORIGINAL X71 slats, which, according to the manufacturer, allows smoother rolling and a more compact roll diameter.
