For 30 years, the Ocea® group has been developing and manufacturing fully automatic cover systems for large and small swimming pools, mainly private. These covers reduce energy consumption by 60 to 70% by reducing water evaporation, maintaining its temperature, or even heating it in the swimming pool, thanks to the effects of the sun on certain cover slats. All this translates into savings in terms of maintenance and water consumption.

Energy savings, safety, and sustainability for all pool configurations

In addition, Ocea® is seeing a growing demand for such covers for public and semi-public swimming pools. Over the last two years, the group has become increasingly involved in projects for public swimming pools equipped with above-ground cover systems or more complex submerged designs. For these projects, the Ocea® range of covers is available directly, or through the group's specialized regional partners.

Public outdoor pool covers

Covering a heated outdoor pool can save up to 70% on energy, depending on the water temperature, geographical location, wind strength and the number of hours the pool is covered. The fully automatic operation of the cover system helps to optimise the number of covered hours.

Public indoor pool covers

When it comes to indoor pools, the cover is also very beneficial. When the pool is covered, evaporation is reduced to a minimum and humidity control slows down the ventilators and the dehumidification unit. Energy savings continue to be achieved, whether in terms of heating or electricity. The risks of moisture damage related to humidity in the pool hall and therefore maintenance costs are also significantly reduced.

Ocea® public indoor  pool cover

The Ocea® group offers a solution for every public swimming pool, from the 12 x 25 m camping pool to the 25 x 50 m Olympic pool.

In addition to the main role of the automatic cover, namely securing access to the pool, its insulating properties represent an investment that quickly pays for itself.
