Innovative technology for Pleatco Advanced UltraTM cartridges
Pleatco Advanced UltraTM is driven by revolutionary patent pending technology - "Pleatco Pure PleatTM". Pure Pleat is a new feature that keeps the pleats of the cartridge rigid and evenly spaced, enhancing flow dynamics and optimizing performance. This is a completely new band-less cartridge design truly in a category of its own.
While in action a cartridges' pleats begin to load under elevated water flow. With a standard filter cartridge under pressure, the flow favors the path of least resistance causing pleats to bunch up, bypassing some filtration fabric. With Pleatco Advanced Ultra with Pleatco Pure Pleat, the flow is systemically distributed by evenly spaced ridged pleats with no bunching up, using the maximum available filtration fabric.
Superior retention capacity and reduced maintenance
After extensive laboratory and in the field
testing, these new cartridges rated significantly higher in dirt holding
capacity. As well, they deliver ultra
long cycle times requiring far less maintenance.
