Electric heater and heat-exchanger specialist Elecro Engineering has added to its portfolio with the development of a high-performance UV sanitiser.

Called the Spectrum UV, the new sanitiser has a flow rate of up to 36m3/h, and is said to be ideal for use on any pool or other body of water of up to 100,000 litres.

Elecro says the Spectrum UV has been designed for maximum effectiveness by extending the unit’s flow path as far as possible and also ensuring this path is a precise distance from the lamps.

The company says the Spectrum UV’s fluid dynamics continually rinse the quartz sleeves on the unit, avoiding the typical encrustations that could otherwise affect UV sanitising performance.
