UK-based manufacturer Elecro Engineering, a leading specialist in water heating and disinfection systems for swimming pools, spas and aquatic facilities, has entered a new phase of development with the relocation to larger premises in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
A new production environment to support growth and innovation
Established in 1997, Elecro has built a strong reputation in the pool industry as a manufacturer of high-quality electric heaters, UV disinfection systems and advanced oxidation technologies. Its solutions are designed for both residential and commercial applications, with a focus on safety, durability and long-term performance. The company's continued growth is supported by strong partnerships with distributors worldwide and long-standing customer relationships.
In 2025, Elecro reached a major milestone by moving into a 48,000 sq ft facility at G Park, North Road, Stevenage, offering more than 4,500 square metres of operational space - over 2.5 times the size of its previous site. This new environment has been designed to meet the evolving needs of the company's manufacturing processes and future development plans.
The site features dedicated production areas, clearly defined product line workflows, and on-site testing facilities, including two external pools and a plant room. These installations allow Elecro to carry out in-house testing under real operating conditions, reinforcing quality control and product reliability.

Beyond increased production capacity, the new premises provide Elecro with additional space for research and development, as well as expanded office and showroom areas. Designed with sustainability in mind, the facility also incorporates solar panels and electric vehicle charging points, reflecting the company's ongoing commitment to responsible manufacturing practices.
With this strategic investment, Elecro aims to further advance its technology, enhance product performance and accelerate the development of new solutions for pool heating and water treatment. From its new base in Stevenage, the company is positioning itself to support the next generation of innovation in the pool and aquatic market.
