Specialist UK pool cover manufacturer Plastipack is launching new swimming pool bubble cover technology that is claimed to increase the material’s expected lifespan by 25%.

Called GeoBubble, the technology has been developed in partnership with two UK universities, and incorporates a new shape of bubble that is reckoned to be more resistant to UV light and chemical attack – two factors that lead to premature failure in a traditional bubble shape.

Plastipack has also conducted research into the best additives, stabilisers and anti-oxidants, with the aim of creating the best-performing and longest-lasting pool bubble cover material available.
