The company Ocea Aqua Technology is expanding its in house extrusion capability by adding a brand new extrusion line exclusively for polycarbonate slats. These slats will be manufactured to an exclusive Ocea standard and will come with a full 5 year warranty. The polycarbonate slats will be available for the 2011 season in both clear (several colours) and solar (several colours too).


Polycarbonate slats have a high resistance to UV and chemical damage and they are very scratch resistant as well as being more rigid and stronger than standard PVC. With energy saving being more and more important when selecting components for a swimming pool, polycarbonate slats will bring even higher efficiency and a much longer life to the solar for the solar slat market.

Polycarbonate slatted covers will be available in the month of June 2011. Samples will also be available on request from that date.
