Recognised expertise in the design of customised systems
This demand for more complex projects in the pool market saw a clear increase in 2024. This is illustrated by this design/production (see photos) of a private indoor pool equipped with a motorised hatch system. The latter is a unique system where the automatic cover is installed and hidden in a pit at the bottom of the pool. When the pit is closed, the cover is invisible in the pool, as the pit cover has the same finish as the pool bottom. The hatch structure is tailor-made from stainless steel and is driven by an external motor located in a motor housing unit, via an axle that passes through a stainless-steel wall conduit with dual bearings. Depending on the project, the pit can be placed against the wall at the back of the pool, or, more generally, in the centre of a free-form pool. In the latter case, the cover consists of 2 parts, better known as a "butterfly" cover.

For all its design projects, Ocea relies on its engineering department, which develops robust fixed or motorised stainless steel structures.
The demand is also growing on the collective pool market for these top-end cover projects in order to reduce energy costs for these pools.
