Fluidra has taken another strategic step by announcing an agreement to acquire Hydrapro from Ydéo Group. The transaction is expected to be completed in January 2027, when Hydrapro will join FLUIDRA France under the leadership of Stéphane Figueroa.

New strategic opportunities for Fluidra in France's water treatment market

Founded in 2006, Hydrapro offers an extensive portfolio of pool and spa water treatment products, including disinfectants, algaecides and solutions for water balance and maintenance, available as powders, liquids and tablets. The French company has a strong presence in its domestic market and well-established commercial relationships with the country's leading pool product distributors. It is also part of Ydéo Group's chemicals division. Employing 850 people across eight production sites and two logistics platforms, the group is built around strong entrepreneurial and people-focused values.

Hydrapro currently employs nearly 70 people across its headquarters n the Mayenne department and its production site in the Gard department.

The acquisition will enable Fluidra to strengthen its presence in a key French market while creating new cross-selling opportunities with its own equipment.

It will also enhance Fluidra's ability to meet the needs of professionals through a competitive range of chemical water treatment products for pools and spas.

By combining their respective strengths, Fluidra will be able to accelerate its growth, reach new customers and reinforce its leading position in the French pool and wellness market.

Pending completion of the transaction next January, both companies will continue to operate independently. They will also be welcoming industry professionals to their respective stands at Piscine Global 2026.
