At a press meeting organised in Frankfurt, the interbad team brought together journalists from across Europe, including EuroSpaPoolNews, to present the latest developments in the German pool market and unveil the main highlights of interbad 2026, which will take place from 6 to 8 October in Stuttgart. Combining site visits, the discovery of exemplary projects and a presentation of the show's key themes, this upcoming edition is already shaping up to be a major event for professionals in the pool, wellness and sauna sectors.
A 2026 programme focused on innovation and new market expectations
The meeting began with a visit to Rebstockbad, a major construction project currently underway in the heart of Frankfurt. Attendees were able to discover the outlines of this future public facility on site, which is set to become one of the flagship projects in Germany's aquatic landscape.

The former facility has been completely demolished to make way for a new complex designed according to ambitious sustainability criteria. The future Rebstockbad will include three classic areas: a sports pool, a leisure pool and a sauna world. The scheme will also feature several large water slides, as well as a spacious outdoor area with two pools. The project places strong emphasis on energy- and resource-efficient construction and operation, with particular attention paid to ecology, economic performance and climate protection.

The visit then continued at Hotel The Florentin, recently renovated, where guests were able to discover the property's new wellness and spa area.
On the following day, the interbad team provided an outlook on interbad 2026, focusing on the main themes and key highlights.
On the exhibition side, several major themes were announced, including:
- biohacking and longevity, with a focus on cryotherapy;
- a Finnish sauna experience presented by Sauna from Finland, centred around the theme of the forest;
- a networking area hosted by the European Waterpark Association (EWA);
- as well as the participation of the German Society for Natural Bathing Waters (DGfnB).
