Pentair announces it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Taco Group Holdings.
Towards an expanded water management offering
The transaction, announced on July 28, 2026, is valued at approximately $1.4 billion.
Founded in 1920 and based in Cranston, Taco provides industry-leading circulation pumps, valves, tanks, heat exchangers, and advanced control systems. The group serves customers across commercial, industrial, and residential customers.
Pentair, a major player in the sustainable water management market, aims to strengthen its presence in high-growth end markets, primarily in North America.
