Fluidra, a global leader in connected solutions for the pool and wellness sector, is expanding its involvement in international sports with four large-scale aquatic infrastructure projects. With a combined value exceeding EUR10 million, these developments highlight the company's technical expertise in the context of top-level competition.
Four new projects in Paraguay, Italy, Romania and India reflect the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability
Olympic Aquatic Centre for the 2025 Junior Pan American Games in Paraguay
In Paraguay, Fluidra is delivering a turnkey project for the future Olympic Aquatic Centre in Asunción, which will host the Junior Pan American Games from 9 to 23 August 2025. The development includes:
- An Olympic pool for water polo and artistic swimming, built with Skypool modular panels, a construction system that adapts easily to both new and existing infrastructures.
- A Bulkhead system, a movable platform that allows the pool to be divided into independent zones for versatile use.
- A diving pool fitted with Sparger technology, which releases high-pressure air from the pool floor to create bubbles that cushion divers' entry and enhance safety.
Fluidra is also responsible for the design, installation, supervision and commissioning of the water treatment and heating systems, as well as competition equipment for both swimming and diving. Additionally, the company will provide on-site maintenance during the competition to ensure the facilities perform at their best.
