Spatex 2017SPATEX will be held from Tuesday January 31st to Thursday February 2nd at the Ericsson Exhibition Hall, Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

The organisers highlight for us ten reasons to attend the 21st anniversary of the Show.

1- You need to keep abreast of the competition and if, possible, beat it…

With well over a hundred high quality exhibitors, including leading manufacturers and suppliers, drawn from all corners of the globe, this is the water leisure event you can’t afford to miss. The hall will literally be bursting with hundreds of new products and innovations.

2- Meet a sports celebrity – Rub shoulders (if you can!) and take home the autographs of two of Wasps RFC’s star players, Guy Thompson and Matt Symons, who will be making a celebrity appearance outside Arena 2 from 2pm -3:30pm on Tues 31st where Wasps Rugby Club Deputy Chairman, Nick Eastwood is giving a talk on Increasing Your Profitability – maximising leisure facilities and building a brand: the Wasps story.

Plus, all diving fans can relive the golden memories of the last Olympics when the GB diving team excelled themselves, as Olympic Gold GB diving champ Jack Laugher MBE will be on the Complete Pool Chemicals stand (F2) on both the Tuesday and Wednesday.

3- You want to learn new ways of tackling tricky tasks, such as how to stop swimming pools leaking and get tips on making sure your water testing is both current and correct. The Institute of Swimming Pool Engineers (ISPE) will be staging 22 free to attend ‘hands on’ workshops. CPD points and certificates of attendance for all delegates.

4- You want to renew and make new contacts… Choose the UK's largest water leisure Industry event as a major opportunity for networking.

5- You may want to be pointed in the right direction …you will find the SPATEX Help Desk at the entrance of the Ericsson Hall and we will happily help with any queries and take you where you need to go.

6- You want to socialise… there’s a party and you’re invited! On Wednesday February 1st at 5pm in the Ricoh Arena’s Clubhouse bar, after the exhibition closes, the organisers of the Show are hosting a celebration of their 21 years' service to the Industry. The much-anticipated British Pool & Hot Tub Awards gala dinner hosted by BISHTA and SPATA will be held on the evening of Tuesday 31st January.

And don’t forget there’s the Ricoh’s G Casino (the UK’s largest) right on the doorstep.

7- You want to update your professional skill set … SPATEX is hosting 19 free seminars by leading Industry professionals.
