The Swimming Pool market will have its trade fair in Madrid, organised by IFEMA. Tecnova-PISCINAS will hold its first edition from 28 February to 3 March 2017 at Feria de Madrid.
The Trade Fair Institution of Madrid's new project sets out to address and respond to market demand for an exhibition aimed at swimming pool professionals with the guarantees offered by of Spain's premier trade fair operator and the benefits of its Madrid location, ensuring accessibility from all points in Spain and abroad.
TECNOVA PISCINAS, the Technology and Innovation Show for Aquatic Installations will cover everything currently available in terms of solutions, equipment and supplies for private personal or community pools, commercial pools for tourist facilities or public, sports and leisure facilities, and everything connected to the world of wellness: spas, thermal baths, private facilities, etc.
The fair has come about as a result of interest from some twenty businesses from the different sectors of the pool industry. These businesses created a work group with IFEMA to handle the design, promotion and monitoring of the event. This work committee consists of: AIPOOL WATER SYSTEMS; COBERTOLDO; CUBIERTAS CUPOSOL; DIASA INDUSTRIAL; DISEÑO Y TRANSFORMACIÓN DE POLIESTER (DTP); EDICAR PLÁSTICOS; GRES DE ARAGON; KRIPSOL; INNOWATER, S.L.; KOKIDO; PRODUCTOS QP, S.A., and includes broad representation from the major components and exhibition categories that will make up the fair.
By choosing to hold Tecnova-PISCINAS during the winter, the ideal period for marketing the sector, this new fair is differentiated in the European fair calendar, which concentrates on autumn, between the months of October and November.
The new Tecnova-PISCINAS fair is thus strongly orientated towards renovation, refitting, maintenance and improvements to existing aquatic facilities to equip them for the new technological solutions available, as well as towards new swimming pool and wellness facility construction.
The target for Tecnova-PISCINAS is clearly international, although its first edition will focus its efforts on bolstering actions make the fair into the most representative event of its kind for Spain and Portugal, an Iberian market that today constitutes one of the most important in the world in terms of numbers of pools. It will also involve and emphasise all the peripheral markets, through the main companies operating in their sector.
Tecnova-PISCINAS is timed to coincide with fairs closely linked to the world of facilities such as CLIMATIZACION and GENERA, both also organised by IFEMA and well established, attracting a total of 45,000 visitors to the last event, from the climate control, air-conditioning, cooling and energy installation and maintenance sectors.
Likewise, Tecnova-PISCINAS will also coincide with the new professional event for the full water management cycle, the SIGA fair, focused on presenting innovative water management solutions.
