logo EUSA A big thank you to John SCOTT, Chairman, and Chris HAYES, General Secretary, of the EUSA in 2012 and 2013 for the outstanding work they did. After the Romanian federation joined EUSA in 2013, it was the turn of the Belgian federation to become a EUSA member in 2014.

The EUSA European Federation now has 13 countries representing over 2,500 companies in the pool and spa sector.

List of federations represented

This first meeting in Paris was an opportunity to list the projects underway within the EUSA with the second edition of the European awards, updating the website, www.eusaswim.eu, monitoring European standards relating to pools and spas, new monitoring projects and lobbying with regard to European regulations and European directives.
BSW made a presentation on the use of social networks within a federation.

To show our commitment at the European level, the next meeting will be held in Brussels in October 2014.

An action strategy oriented towards strengthening European monitoring and lobbying

Besides monitoring European standardization issues that is already well rooted in its current work, and the project for the elaboration of an European standard for spas, EUSA wishes to develop a mapping of European directives and regulations that affect the swimming pool and spa sector to be able to influence its contents in Brussels in the coming years if the need arises.
