Piscina BCN, the International Swimming Pool Exhibition, organized by Fira de Barcelona, will be held this year from 18 till 21 October, 2011, at the Gran Via Exhibition Centre of Barcelona.
It will be bringing together the leading Spanish and international companies in the sectors of swimming pool, wellness and aquatic facilities. It is the benchmark event in these fields of activity and in 2009, for the previous edition, it brought together 500 companies from 33 countries and over 16,000 visitors from 110 countries.
It allows the trade visitors to meet and trade with those companies. It also promotes the most innovative products on this market. An “Innovation Zone” will showcase the latest products, trends and innovations of the exhibiting companies. As usual, the most innovative initiatives that guarantee sustainability in the world for the three sectors will be rewarded with the Piscine BCN Awards 2011.
In parallel, will be held the 3rd Ibero-American Congress on Sports and Recreational Facilities, a benchmark meeting that will be gathering together 23 Ibero-American companies in a common forum.
The Exhibition will welcome its new president, Eloi PLANES, Managing Director of the Fluidra Group, who will succeed Lluís CORTES as chairman of the Barcelona International Swimming Pool Shows Organising Committee.
