With the M1-AI Series, iGarden aims to take robotic pool cleaning beyond automated movement. Using a dual-camera vision system, AI debris recognition and intelligent energy management, the robot analyses its surroundings and adapts its operation to the conditions encountered in the pool.

AI-powered debris recognition and adaptive energy management

Automation has already considerably reduced the effort required to clean swimming pools. With the M1-AI, iGarden is taking the next step: enabling the robot to recognise its environment and make decisions based on what it detects, instead of simply following a pre-programmed route.

The M1-AI Series combines three key technologies: bionic AI dual-camera vision, precise AI debris targeting and adaptive energy management.

Dual-camera vision to identify and target debris

The M1-AI vision system analyses underwater conditions in real time and can identify different types of debris commonly found in pools, including leaves, sand, insects and small twigs.

The robot then adapts its movements to focus on the areas that actually require cleaning. Under the test conditions specified by the manufacturer, AI Target Mode can complete a targeted cleaning cycle in as little as 20 minutes.

This feature is particularly suited to occasional cleaning requirements, such as leaves accumulating after windy weather or particles settling in specific areas of the pool, without systematically requiring a complete cleaning cycle.

More than one million data points used to guide the robot

Vision is only the first stage in the M1-AI's operation. The information collected by its cameras is processed by an AI processor developed through the analysis of more than one million pool-related data points.

The robot can therefore adjust its behaviour according to the pool layout, underwater conditions and the debris detected. This ability sets it apart from conventional robotic cleaners that rely mainly on repeated, predefined movement patterns.

Environmental analysis also plays a role in energy management. By adapting its power output to the actual cleaning requirements, the M1-AI seeks to balance suction performance with runtime.

Up to 16 hours of runtime with AI-Inverter 2.0

The M1-AI Series incorporates iGarden AI-Inverter(TM) 2.0 technology, which dynamically adjusts power output. The robot can increase its performance when conditions demand it and reduce energy consumption during lighter cleaning tasks.

Depending on the model, this intelligent energy management provides up to 16 hours of operation on a single charge.

The robot also features the Dual-Pump Turbo system to collect debris. Its two pumps deliver the suction power required to capture both larger debris and fine particles.

Through intelligent scheduling, the M1-AI can follow predefined maintenance plans and provide up to 30 days of scheduled cleaning, depending on the selected mode. This reduces the frequency of charging, retrieval and restart operations.

Integrating the pool into the AI Garden ecosystem

With the M1-AI, iGarden is positioning robotic pool cleaning within a broader strategy focused on artificial intelligence for outdoor equipment. Known as AI Garden, this ecosystem aims to transform conventional garden equipment into intelligent systems capable of sensing their surroundings, analysing them and adapting their operation accordingly.
