Schmalenberger, with its brand fluvo, a specialist in premium pool and water attraction technology, has been commissioned to deliver high-performance pump systems and advanced flow technology for the Lazy River at Aquarabia.
Accurate Flow Regulation, High Energy Efficiency and Robust Industrial Design
Schmalenberger and its premium brand fluvo® have engineered a customized hydraulic solution for the 210-meter Lazy River at Aquarabia water park in Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia. Designed for large-scale commercial water parks, this system delivers a consistent flow velocity and top-tier hydraulic performance.
At the heart of this advanced hydraulic configuration is the fluvo® optimo-F filtration pump, a high-performance system designed for continuous, heavy-duty operation in large-scale aquatic environments.
This technical solution stands on three core pillars of performance:
- Precise Flow Control: Maintains a stable, harmonious current across the entire 210-meter attraction, creating a seamless guest experience as visitors drift between themed zones.
- Superior Energy Efficiency: Maximizes power optimization and reduces operational costs, despite handling exceptionally demanding filtration volumes and pressure requirements.
- Industrial Durability: Features heavy-duty components engineered for extended service life under continuous, intensive operating conditions.
The project was secured through close and intensive collaboration between fluvo - Michael Visser and Robert Zweegers - and the client teamworking alongside the project consultants to develop a technically robust and efficient solution.
