Unlike conventional counter-current systems that use pumps, BINDER employs patented turbine technology. This technology produces a wide and steady current similar to a natural river flow. The powerful stream keeps swimmers balanced, promoting a comfortable swimming experience. Although several imitation products have appeared, the manufacturer states these do not match the performance and efficiency of BINDER's system.

BINDER offers two models of turbine swim systems: HydroStar, designed for fixed pool installation, provides a flow rate between 160 and 1,200 m³ per hour. The mobile EasyStar variant is ideal for retrofitting existing pools and attaches easily to the pool edge. Both models can be installed in various pool types, including natural swimming pools and swimming ponds. EasyStar is even suitable for above-ground pools.
