Coverseal is a Belgian company, created by Jérôme Coenraets, that markets a safety cover  for pools, aesthetic and ecological.  Discovered during the international Show in Lyon, this design cover suits to any shape of swimming pool, as it is tailor-made, for swimming pools up to 7m in width and 20m in length.

This system, optimized to be used during all seasons, allows to keep a clear water all year long. It includes all the advantages of a tide pool with the discretion of a floating shutter.

Technology

The canvas takes place on the edge of the swimming pool, on the mini-rail in stainless steel (always closed by a belt of engaging) and it moves, thanks to the mechanism, travelling along the length of the pool, without rubbing against the ground.


Composed of more PVC per mm² than a traditional canvas, this cover is UV resistant. The cover unrolls and seals itself in flat stainless steel locking simultaneously. This flat of locking, of 8.5 mm in height, is fixed to edges or on to terrace (stone / wood). This technique allows a tension of the cover with more than 300 kg per linear meter.

The cover, once closed, is not in touch with the water of the pond: an insulating air mattress is created and the rainwater can evacuate easily. Mainly composed  by flexible plastic materials, this safety cover is silent when it works and discreet when we enjoy the  swimming pool.

Safety

This system of cover allows a lock in only 2,30 mn for a swimming pool of 10 m x 5 m,, and an automatic sealing system, simply working by the push of a button, guarantees the safety of the pool. Thanks to the tension of the canvas and with the openings of drainage, the cover never accumulates water.

It does not permit either to the water to go up on the surface when a child of less than 30 kg is on the cover. This double result  is important all the more when we know that 20 cm of water are sufficient so that a child of less than 5 years drowns himself. Of course, no type of protection will ever replace the surveillance and vigilance of a responsible adult during the children baths.

The Coverseal cover, model 102 complies to the NF P 90- 308 AFNOR norm.

An ecological cover

This cover is a shield against debris intrusion, heat-loss and water evaporation, meaning savings in products of water treatment, in consumption of water and energy.

The mechanism is also equipped with photovoltaic panels, avoiding any electrical connection around the pond.

An aesthetic asset

From design conception, this cover is tailor-made, offering to the customers a possibility of additional customization  thanks to the 6 colours of canvas available, with the various options of covering and positioning of the mechanism.

One can choose a painted covering, or only painted side boxes, or a complete covering with smooth or grooved wood, to compose a pretty unit, sober, discreet and elegant.
