To mark its 25th anniversary, International Media Communication (IMC), publisher of EuroSpaPoolNews, officially kicked off its anniversary year at Piscina Barcelona 2025, one of the major international events for the pool, spa and wellness sector, held from 17 to 20 November in Barcelona. To celebrate this symbolic milestone, the team launched an initiative true to its DNA: simple, people-focused and firmly centred on the professionals of the pool and wellness market.
An anniversary game to put professionals in the spotlight
Entitled "Spot us & win your portrait", the game was deliberately designed to be simple, encouraging broad participation throughout the entire show.
The challenge? Spot a member of the IMC team and recreate the official 25th anniversary gesture on camera: a 2, a 5 and a wave - a clear nod to the aquatic world.
To guide participants, several explanatory videos were produced by different members of the team in French, English and Spanish, and shared on social media ahead of the show. Once the gesture was filmed, participants scanned a QR code and completed a short online form to validate their entry.

Portrait interviews to highlight key players in the sector
Each day, a prize draw was carried out among the validated entries, in accordance with IMC's internal procedure, ensuring transparency and fairness.
The prize: A portrait interview published on the EuroSpaPoolNews website and relayed across social media and the newsletter.

It also revealed a clear recognition of the EuroSpaPoolNews name within the industry: a brand seen as established, legitimate and appreciated, built over the years alongside professionals from the pool and spa market.
To celebrate its 25th anniversary, IMC chose an initiative faithful to its DNA: simple, approachable and focused on pool and spa professionals, in France and internationally.
With the "Spot us & win your portrait" game, EuroSpaPoolNews reaffirmed what has always defined its identity: connecting with the profession, showcasing individual journeys and supporting the sector as it evolves.
