Hayward has marketed the Paramount brand and its cleaning system since 2018. Designed to be integrated directly into the pool shell, either during construction or as part of a structural renovation, the system is suitable for all types of pools, including concrete, liner and fibreglass pools. Proven for over 60 years, the concept uses nearly invisible pop-up nozzles that operate in sequence, directing pressurised water across the pool. The resulting flow pushes debris towards an active main drain capable of collecting even the largest leaves.
Integrated nozzles that clean up to 99% of the pool while optimising water circulation
By actively circulating water from the bottom towards the surface and the active main drain, Paramount also improves overall circulation, eliminates cold spots and prevents uneven chlorine distribution. Chemical consumption can consequently be reduced by up to 30%.
Unlike a cordless or corded robotic pool cleaner that moves across the pool floor after swimming, the Paramount system operates during the filtration cycle, without cables or visible equipment. The pool can still be used while the system is operating. The nozzles cover areas that are usually difficult for other systems to clean, including steps, benches, sun shelves and the recessed housing of automatic submerged pool covers. According to Hayward, the system cleans up to 99% of the pool surface.

The Paramount system cleans the pool and improves water circulation, even in hard-to-reach areas
One of the system's main advantages is the extended reach of its nozzles, allowing them to cover a larger area with fewer components. This simplifies installation and reduces the number of nozzles required for a given pool. Hayward provides a warranty of up to 15 years on its nozzles.
The system must be installed by professionals and helps reduce after-sales service issues, as it requires no cables, batteries or recharging.
