Fluidra, a global leader in equipment and connected solutions for the pool and wellness sector, closed 2025 with significant progress in its sustainability strategy. The company met several key milestones while strengthening its roadmap to carbon neutrality by 2027.
Progress across environmental, social and governance priorities
In 2025, Fluidra increased its use of renewable electricity to 93%, compared with 89% in 2024. At the same time, the company reduced its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 70% compared with 2021 and improved its energy efficiency by 5%.
These results were supported by several initiatives, including fleet electrification, the installation of solar panels, energy optimisation measures and the use of biofuels. Fluidra also continued to progress across its three ESG pillars -- environmental, social and governance -- in an increasingly demanding regulatory environment.
The company maintained a positive trajectory across major sustainability indices. It achieved a score of 77 from S&P, a B rating in CDP Climate and CDP Water, and an AA rating from MSCI. Its global customer satisfaction index, measured through NPS, stood at 54 points.
Fluidra also advanced its "water positive 2030" strategy, with projects aimed at improving water efficiency and promoting nature-based solutions. Water intensity was reduced to 112 m³ per thousand euros of sales, compared with 124 m³/kEUR in 2024, representing a 10% improvement. The company also made its first investments in local projects in Spain and Brazil to strengthen water resilience and support responsible management of natural resources.
2026 targets to complete the first sustainability strategic plan
Looking ahead to 2026, Fluidra has set new targets to further accelerate its pathway to carbon neutrality. The company aims to reach 96% renewable electricity, reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 90% compared with 2021, and certify six additional sites under ISO 14001.
Fluidra also expects sustainable products to account for 60% of its portfolio in 2026. In addition, the company intends to continue reducing water intensity, improve water efficiency by 3%, and offset up to 20% of its water footprint through projects in local watersheds.
Fluidra has published its 2025 Integrated Report, presenting its economic, social and environmental performance, as well as the progress made on its commitments and roadmap towards carbon neutrality.
