The international trade fair for swimming pool, sauna and spa will gather at the end of the year with its congress. On approximately 26,800 m² of exhibition space, it will display swimming pool technology, wellness and spa solutions, as well as for sauna, physiotherapy and fitness.
A programme centred on innovation and the challenges facing public facilities
Christian Mankel, Managing Director of the DGfdB, emphasizes the significance of interbad: "Rising competition for space in metropolitan areas and tighter municipal budgets require new planning and energy concepts for attractive public spaces. Depending on each municipality's situation and needs, this opens numerous opportunities for public pools to strengthen their exceptional importance for the entire urban community. At interbad, the latest innovations in pool construction, operation, and technology will be showcased and brought to life through the trade fair and the accompanying congress program."
In line with the new interbad slogan "Water is our element. Innovation is our drive.", the trade fair will consistently focus on knowledge exchange and innovation: "Together with our partners, interbad 2026 will once again offer a comprehensive program for professionals and decisionmakers in the pool industry. In the newly established Innovation Center, experts will present a variety of talks and discussions. In addition to professional insights, businessrelated topics will also be explored in depth," says Joachim Sauter, Director of Trade Fairs & Events at Messe Stuttgart.
Interbad remains an international top platform gathering experts from Germany and abroad - professionals from pool construction, architecture, hospitality, planning, and the private sector. Visitors will benefit from solutions and innovations presentations, but also from DGfdB congress modules, workshops, and expert forums offer knowledge, discussion, and inspiration, ensuring top-level professional added value.
