At Piscina Barcelona, Fairland presented its long-term vision for outdoor living through the iGarden ecosystem. In this video interview, Terrence Liu, Director of Fairland Group, explains how the company has evolved from a specialist in inverter pool heat pumps to a broader ecosystem-driven approach, combining pool, garden and outdoor technologies, supported by a global partner network.
A global vision to shape the outdoor living of tomorrow
With iGarden, Fairland is moving beyond a single-product strategy to develop a comprehensive ecosystem dedicated to outdoor living. This approach reflects the group's ambition to address the evolving expectations of garden and pool users worldwide, by integrating multiple technologies within a coherent and scalable platform.

From inverter heat pumps to the iGarden ecosystem
Originally focused on inverter pool heat pumps, Fairland identified early on that future competition would no longer be driven by individual products, but by complete ecosystems. This led the group to expand its product portfolio and, five years ago, to officially define the iGarden strategy, aimed at bringing advanced outdoor living technologies to a global base of garden users.
We realised that future competition would not be about a single product, but about the ecosystem - Terrence Liu
The iGarden ecosystem now brings together a growing range of solutions, including inverter pool heat pumps, water pumps and, in the future, products such as salt chlorinators, swim jets and other complementary equipment. Presented for the first time as a complete ecosystem at Piscina Barcelona, iGarden illustrates Fairland's ambition to deliver a stable, scalable and interconnected outdoor living platform.

A long-term roadmap towards iOutdoor
Fairland's ecosystem strategy is structured around a clear, long-term roadmap. Defined nearly two decades ago, this three-step strategy is based on iPool, iGarden and iOutdoor. Having completed the first stage and currently focusing on iGarden, the group is laying the foundations for its next phase of development.
According to Terrence Liu, outdoor environments represent a vast potential for innovation beyond the pool itself. In the coming years, Fairland aims to further expand its ecosystem and enter the iOutdoor stage, extending its expertise to a wider range of outdoor applications and reinforcing its positioning as a global ecosystem player in the pool and outdoor living industries.
