Tickets for the XVIII Sauna Congress have officially been on sale. Taking place for the 18^th time already, the International Sauna Congress will be held from October 24 to 27, 2022 and run concurrently with interbad, the leading trade fair for swimming pools, pool and bath technology, saunas, physiotherapy and wellness.

Experts, enthusiasts, scientists and sauna fans from all over the world meet here every four years to share the latest findings, trends and exciting news from the industry. The respective host country is appointed by the International Sauna Association, which is based in Helsinki. The congress is taking place in Germany for the 6^th time already.

This year's programme has been finalised and includes a number of top international speakers. The following topics will be discussed:

1. More than sweating - Sauna and your health
2. The public sauna: Combining wellness and experience
3. Environmental and technical challenges for sauna construction and management
4. The future importance of the sauna - Quo vadis Sauna?

Visitors will also have an exclusive opportunity to personally experience the German and international sauna culture as part of an organised Sauna Night and Matinée. Day trips will be organised to superb sauna facilities, as well as to the German manufacturer and market leader KLAFS. There will also be a chance to explore the pool and spa facilities on offer in Stuttgart. And, of course, there is plenty of time scheduled for a visit to the interbad trade fair.

"The talks and topics covered will provide exciting insights into the international sauna sector, the research being carried out, effective operating concepts and current trends," explains Martin Niederstein, Managing Director of the German Sauna Association, which is hosting the event. "The spotlight will be on sustainable energy for public sauna facilities, while taking into account the extreme shortage of resources currently experienced worldwide. Visitors can choose from a simple selection of affordable tickets for what promises to be an extensive programme. This industry event, with its international appeal, is aiming to attract large numbers of guests from as many countries as possible - a real get-together," he added.

All event highlights, with the exception of the exclusive day trips, are covered by the combined ticket. Free entry to the trade fair is also included with this ticket. Taking into account the cost of travel to the event, as well as reduced spending power among many of its guests, a very attractive early-bird discount is also on offer. There is also an additional discount available for members of the Deutscher Sauna-Bund.

Ticket prices start at EUR290. Visitors can choose from the Full Access Congress Ticket, the Basic Ticket 1 and the Basic Ticket 2. An early-bird discount of EUR160 will be applied to tickets purchased by 30.06.2022.
