The organisers of South African Pool, Spa & Outdoor Living (SAPSOL), the debut trade and consumer pool-and-spa show in South Africa, have announced positive responses and feedback from the event.

Held in early-September, and organised jointly by New Events Ltd and SCS Exhibitions in conjunction with the South African National Spa & Pool Institute, the event attracted more than 60 main exhibitors – including a host of established international names.

According to the organisers, they have received a positive response and feedback from exhibitors – despite the difficult economic situation in South Africa, and lower-than-expected visitor numbers to the event.

The next event is expected to see more emphasis on the outdoor living and lifestyle sector, and the organisers are currently considering a new name for the exhibition to reflect the renewed focus. Other venues and co-locations are also under consideration in order to maximise consumer interest and visitor numbers.
