GEMAS is a manufacturer of swimming pool equipment located in Turkey. The company was launching as a World Premiere at Piscine Global its new Filtegra monoblock sand filter. The structure of the filter is made of fiberglass reinforced polyester and ABS plastic, and the outer coating is made of gelcoated FR-polyester.

Unlike the universal laminated filters with a 2-part body structure, this filter has been designed with a monoblock smooth, gelcoated outer body. Its inner shell is made of ABS smooth plastic which eliminates bacteria and algae.

Its monoblock body has much better pressure resistance in comparison with 2-part filters (up to 4 bar).

The filter's connection unions are designed to be easily screwed and unscrewed thaks to the GEMAS "Fitvalf" PVC ball valve handle.

A transparent lid with touchpad lighting button allows a better observation of the sand filter bed (option).

The manufacturer will launch in January a new PVC ball valve ("Fitvalf"). Its handle has several functions: It can be used to screw/unscrew the unions of the valve, by the way, the valve can be installed, replaced or maintained without using any extra tool; it can also be used to screw/unscrew connections of all kind of GEMAS brand sand filters, pumps and salt chlorinators. A pool installer can easily screw all necessary connections in a complete domestic pool system.
