The Ace salt water sanitising system from spa specialist HotSpring is said by the company to offer ‘virtually maintenance-free hot tub ownership’, helping to reduce the daily or weekly water care maintenance requirements of traditional systems to just once a month.

Using diamond technology, as employed in European breweries and on international cruise liners, is a first for the hot tub industry, according to HotSpring. The system’s diamond electrode and two titanium electrodes are designed to increase the sanitising power while using less salt than other salt water systems. It also generates five different cleaners instead of chlorine alone, reducing the amount of bottled products to measure and pour.

HotSpring says that an additional benefit of the Ace system is a reduction in environmental impact – the product reduces excess chemical use because it automatically generates the precise quantity of cleaners needed.
