Part of the Bolton Group, Dutch brand Griffon is launching the WDF-05 solvent cement, reckoned to be ideal for spas, whirlpool spas and pools.

Developed in close collaboration with pipe manufacturers and pool builders, WDF-05 is said by the company to be the perfect solvent cement for bonding thick-walled PVC flexible hoses and rigid PVC pipes, joints and fittings, and to be ideal for use in humid conditions.
In a distinctive blue colour, WDF-5 is claimed to be fast setting and suitable for pressure pipes and drainage systems, its character making it particularly suitable for ‘interference fits’ and loose fits. It can be used for pipe diameters up to 160 mm and a maximum pressure of 16 bar (PN 16).

The product has been developed by Bolton Group and meets the European EN14814 and EN14680 standards.
