Turbine technology also has other advantages. First, substantially lower electricity consumption: HydroStar requires 50 à 80% less energy than pump-operated installations. Moreover, installation time is much shorter than for other counter-current swimming systems. In addition, HydroStar requires no maintenance and does not need to be dismantled from outdoor pools, even in winter.

BINDER's unique turbine technology is available in two versions: HydroStar, a counter-current system designed for new pools, and EasyStar, for existing pools. The intensity of the current can be easily controlled via a piezoelectric switch, remote control or the BINDER24 application (available for iOS/Android).
