This year, aware of environmental issues, Pool Technologie has launched two new onsite chlorine generators to minimise environmental impact through low salt consumption, but especially to eliminate the need to add salt to the pool.

Two new onsite chlorine generators to minimise environmental impact

The Poolsquad® iPO and iPOQLOR® electrolysis cell is not installed in the hydraulic circuit but is housed in a reactor located in the technical room. A chlorine solution alone is injected into the hydraulic circuit, thus reducing the quantity of salt in the discharged water to an insignificant amount.

These generators consist of a single-block reactor with a 70-litre salt tank (= 2 bags of 25 kg each), a softened water tank (mains water), a brine tank for the softened water and salt mixture, dosing pumps and the production cell. The chlorine produced by the reactor is then injected directly into the pool hydraulic circuit.

Included in the Premium Natural Pool Series range, Poolsquad® iPO is fitted with pH regulation and the latest Pool Technologie algorithms to optimise the consumption of corrective products (25 to 30% less product) with no fluctuation. It also comes in 2 other models, the Poolsquad® iPO ORP and the Poolsquad® Ampero.

As for the iPOQLOR®, it adapts to all applications that require disinfection through the injection of fresh chlorine: semi-collective pools, drinking water production and industry. The chlorine solution produced in the reactor is directly stored in a dedicated tank and secured by level sensors. The factory-wired reactor is ready for installation by the professional, thus limiting installation risks (leakage, non-tightened connections, etc.). Two hatches give direct access to each sub-assembly in order to facilitate maintenance. The device requires a dosing system to inject the solution (dosing panels).
