Filtration and water just at the right level!

In order to counteract the phenomenon of water level variations in pools (evaporation, filter backwash, leakage, rain, etc.), So-Blue has launched the ALTEO, a wireless, long-range water-level sensor.

Placed in the skimmer, this sensor measures and controls the water level within a -4 cm to +3 cm range, with thresholds of 1 cm. The apparatus also measures the temperature of the water.

The ALTEO connects to a wireless unit (type Rail DIN) installed in the equipment room, which optimises the daily filtration time acording to the temperature of the water, thanks to its dynamic algorithm (average savings of 30%). 

It controls solenoid water refilling valve and an electro-pneumatic valve for decreasing the water level by backwashing and has integrated frost protection.

The device includes security algorithms to prevent incorrect measurements, due, for example, to a sensor outside the water, upside down, etc.

Another safety feature is the grille on its façade that can be unclipped, which captures impurities that prevent correct measuring.

It also includes an outlet that triggers the rolling shutter according to the water level measured.

The ALTEO can also be connected to an InAux, becoming a level sensor for the MAESTRO home automation application.

The device comes with a lithium battery with a service life of 2 years, and a bracket to be able to adjust the height of the sensor in a 7 cm range.

So-Blue, the specialist in pool automation, guarantees the radio range of the device, regardless of the installation location (reimbursement in case of extreme conditions that prevent the connection).
