BabydobberAfter almost five years of refinement, experiments and testing, a new safe solution for parents looking for water fun in swimming pool with their babies is introduced: the BabyDobber®.

The BabyDobber is best described as a designer baby chair to be used in water. It is shaped like a buoy, which gives it its brand name, encompassed by a ring. The designer chair is made from light-weight renewable plastic; the buoy will fill with water when placed in the swimming bath. Its special self-stabilising properties and firm head and back support allow the baby to be comfortably seated in it and with normal use there is no chance that it will tip over.

Traditional floatation devices such as inflatable swim seats or rings, or water wings, are often not sufficiently reliable because they can be punctured, might sink or the children could tip over. This chair is not affected by these hazards. It has undergone extensive testing and the independent institute TÜV Rheinland has awarded it the internationally recognised TÜV-certification.

Babies can play in the BabyDobber as soon as they can sit up (on average, that is between five and seven months) and can use it until they weigh more than eleven kilograms. When it was launched, this innovative floating chair attracted the interest of companies in France, Germany and several other countries, including even Australia. According to its Dutch manufacturer, this invention is expected to become popular among consumers, swimming baths, tropical water parks and holiday parks.
