Evolution Spas located in Zealand (the Netherlands) is proud to announce that it won the prestigious price " Eco Pool Attitude " during the largest spa and private pool exhibition in the world (PISCINE 2010), held last week in Lyon (France). This award is for making (and selling) the world's most ecological spa.
Among 653 participants exposing on 32.000 square meters, the professional jury, including experts like Jean-Pierre Pech, Christian Blery, Henri Peruchon, Louis Salvador and Cyril Bianchin gave the company this highly appreciated price.
These spas are equipped with a completely programmable controller, in combination with a heat pump. This system will permit to save at least 70% on the electricity consumption.
But there is more: they have a 1 micron filtration system (where normal spas only filter up to 50 – 60 microns) with silver ions. And an UV system, combined with an ozone sanitisation system with a special reaction chamber. These three together ensure that a minimum of chemicals are to be used.
And with the by Evolution Spas specially developed Aqua-Perfect, that is 100% bio-degradable, there is no need to use chemicals at all.
