Skypool takes centre-stage at LIW

Skypool at LIWAstral’s temporary Skypool was used as the swimming pool in the wet-leisure area of the recent Leisure Industry Week exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham for the fourth year running.

The pool was in nearly constant use over the three days of the show, hosting teaching activities from Total Swimming, demonstrations of the Amateur Swimming Association’s aqua fun classes from local primary schoolchildren, aqua jogging classes and lifesaving classes from the Royal Life Saving Society.

The Skypool was erected in only two days, and was lined with the Delifol pool lining system. A Heatstar unit controlled the water temperature, while Astral provided the water-treatment equipment.
