AstralPool introduces Viron, a new range of fully variable speed energy efficient pumps, which are also silent and environmentally friendly.

VIRON pump  from AstralPool has been classified 8 star pump in the ENERGY RATING classification, for its energy efficiency.

By using up to 90% less energy during operation than a conventional single speed pump also reduces greenhouse emissions by up to 90% (when power supplied from coal fired power plants) and gets an annual energetic cost saving up to 900 €.

It has been carefully designed for ease of operation and for maximum life span in the most demanding working conditions. 316 stainless steel hardware, robust engineering plastics and high quality silicone seals create a pump that lasts.

Its large liquid crystal display clearly shows the RPM of the motor and enables adjustment of the start-up priming time, priming flow rate, and visual display of each speed setting. The inbuilt 24 hour timer is easily enabled and provides up to four time periods each day with different speed settings to provide the perfect flow rate for each pool.

Three programmed speeds are factory preset and each speed is able to be adjusted with a simple press of an up or down button. Each pump speed can be changed to optimise the water flow to suit the pool shape, cleaner type, size and location, making the range of pumps the most flexible and easy to use variable speed pumps on the market.

It has a loud level 75% lower than the one speed pumps, and that is not perceptible for the humane ear.

The range is composed by two models: Viron P320, for the average sized pools which have up to 800mm diameter sand filters; and Viron P600, a pump with a 600 litres per minute flow rate, ideal for larger pools.
