Magnum Filters Ltd is a New Zealand company, established since 1982, specialising in the manufacture of
high quality spa and pool filter cartridges.
Magnum Filters Ltd has grown steadily over the years and is now the only manufacturer of pool cartridges in Australia and New Zealand.
Magnum supplies direct to the major spa manufacturers as well to the major pool equipment manufacturers (OEM).
Flexibility in Production
By world standards, Magnum Filters Ltd is a small company which allows the flexibility to change production schedules very quickly. This is critical in a weather dependable industry where inventories can disappear quickly. Unlike the United States, Magnum’s primary market has a different seasonality pattern to the European market. This allows for greater focus on Europe during its ‘High season’.
Design
Magnum Filters Ltd is able, in a very short time, to design a cartridge to suit the customers’ requirements. All Magnum cartridges are designed for maximum strength, with best quality raw materials and are manufactured on purposely designed pleaters that give sharp and even pleats to ensure maximum filtration as well as dirt holding capacity.
End caps
Magnum cartridges have a unique end cap design made from urethane with an extra thickness covering the circumference of the centre core. This eliminates end cap cracking, the most common failure cause of cartridges.
Packaging
Magnum Cartridges can be purchased in bulk without packaging or to customer requirements, either shrink-wrapped with a label or individually boxed.
Magnum Cartridges – Filtering Fabric
Magnum Filters Ltd uses exclusively Reemay 100% spun wounded polyester which is classed as the industry standard in the world.
Centre Cores
Magnum Cartridges in the main use specially designed injected moulded centre cores. Holes are evenly spaced for an even flow and the cores have been strengthened with ribs. These cores have undergone rigorous testing to ensure they do not collapse under normal conditions.
Quality
Magnum filters Ltd prides itself on the quality of their cartridges enforced by a stringent quality assurance programme.
