In 2015, on the occasion of its 20th anniversary, the manufacturer T&A launched a brand new innovative solar slat for swimming pool covers. Prioritising the direct relationship between the manufacturer and pool constructors, the company is fully aware of the expectations of their clients, ensuring that it offers them the highest level of quality, service and reliability.

This close association with its professional customers resulted in the development of the new Premium Clean Profile polycarbonate slats which provide a more suitable solution for keeping the pool slats clean, in particular the solar slats, the most vulnerable to algae in their connecting chamber.

This phenomenon, due to the combined presence of water and UV radiation, was resolved by the manufacturer by the addition of a fourth sealed compartment covering the connecting chamber. This new section, insulated from light, thus almost totally prevents the growth of algae, which greatly facilitates the upkeep of the cover.

Among its many advantages, the Premium Clean Profile slat has 25% more buoyancy and remarkable insulation with a heat transfer coefficient of U=3.80W / m²K.  It can be installed very easily, by clipping in the water or by sliding. In addition, the new generation slats are compatible with existing installations in case the cover is replaced.

These anti-algae slats became a real success, both in their solar and aluminium-look (Look Alu) versions, and were installed in more than 600 pools in 2016.
