FLUIDRA introduces its filtration system, NanoFiber, marketed under the AstralPool brand and aimed at pools up to 90 m3.

This self-cleaning filter has a sophisticated network of nanofibres, which is able to filter particles of between 5 and 8 microns and preventing the device from getting clogged up with dirt.

Its cutting-edge technology makes it a very efficient filtration system: a central manifold send the water flowing through the mechanism sideways. As the water is redirected, this not only results in the even distribution of dirt but also extends the filter’s service life.

One of its other advantages is that it is easy to clean. The self-cleaning system on the top of the main body has a lever that is easy to automate. By turning this lever, the nanofibres filter medium also turns and ensures that the filter is properly cleaned. Moreover, once the device has been backwashed, its initial flow rate is restored.

From a compact (diam. 400mm x 650 mm ht.) and sustainable design, NanoFiber is also compatible with other filtration and pumping systems.

The NanoFiver is made up of:
Manual NanoFiber: by fitting a manual selector valve, the filter self-cleans by manually turning it;
Automatic NanoFiber: the self-cleaning function is more or less automated, according to the selector that is fitted (automatic, or manual with a manual selector valve to activate the cleaning by pressing a button).

The physicochemical tests that were conducted by an external laboratory (Porometer) have shown a mechanism that filters more evenly and thoroughly than other models and without limescale.
