Greek pool surround specialist Sofikitis launched its latest Poolstones drainage grating at the Piscine Global exhibition in Lyon.

The 19cm-wide unit is designed to fit any channel up to 30cm wide, thanks to accompanying conversion elements which ensure that the grate can be fitted equally well to a 20, 25 or even 30cm-wide channel.

According to the company, 20–30 cm is the typical width for channels on 90% of pool channels worldwide, which means that its one model can cover the vast majority of requirements. The new grating is installed over specially designed supporting elements which are placed on the sides of any channel, regardless of its width or depth.

The recesses underneath the grating ensure optimal installation of the grate over the supporting elements for channels up to 30cm wide. The product comes with two lateral covers which can be easily cut and configured as required.
