Swedish pool equipment manufacturer Pahlén has launched the new MidiHeat electric pool heater with capacities from 18kW to 72kW.

Designed to offer quick and safe heating of the pool, the units have triple protection against overheating, as well as thermostatic temperature control.

Claimed to be able to increase the temperature of a domestic pool by 18°C in 24 hours, the MidiHeat is preassembled and features overheating protection and flow switch to prevent damage to the heating elements in the event of no water flow.

Two or more heaters can be connected in parallel without capacity limitations, while the unit can be installed vertically for minimum footprint and maximum compactness. It is said to be easy to install.

Heating elements are of titanium, designed to offer excellent protection against ‘aggressive’ water conditions. The fibre-glass reinforced polypropylene casing is designed for sturdy construction and excellent resistance against corrosion.
