Swedish pool equipment specialist Pahlén has launched Auto-UV130, a new efficient UV lamp enclosed in a titanium body. It eliminates harmful bacteria in the pool and saves the environment.

Return water from the pool is pumped through the sand filter and is then passed through the Auto-UV130 where short-wave ultraviolet UVC radiation eliminates bacteria, viruses and algae.

The result is clean and crystal clear pool water and reduced need for chlorine dosing (up to 70% according to the manufacturer).

Gunnar Samuelsson, Sales and Marketing Manager of Pahlén declared that this product is the result of the company’s listening of pool’s owners’ needs and wishes for environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutions to treat efficiently the pool’s water.

The manufacturer draws on a long experience in producing and selling equipment for public, hotel and private swimming pools, installed worldwide.

70% of its production is exported to more than 70 countries from its Swedish factory in Upplands Väsby.
